ZOMG - Sylar ate Spock!

I’ve always been more of a Trekkie then a Star Wars nerd. I remember watching the original Star Trek series as a child and later being absolutely enamored with the Next Generation series when it was released. I think what always drew me more to the Star Trek series was the air of possibility that hung over everything. Rather than rely on magic powers or nigh mystical weapons to tell its stories, the Trek series has always attempted to ground itself in the endless possibilities of science. Even more importantly, no matter how cool the FX were, the characters were the true heart of the show. These brave explorers epitomized the power of the human spirit by being nothing more than a group of normal people who always got the job done using only their brains and their brawn.

Thankfully, the new Star Trek movie embraces all of these ideals whole-heartedly to create a new vision of a beloved classic, in the process reigniting my passion for Star Trek all over again.

*sigh*

I so wanted the Wolverine movie to be absolutely epic. Hugh Jackman is a great actor and he portrays the character of Wolverine so well that I can’t imagine anyone else doing it. Unfortunately, I found myself being more interested in the wide assortment of cool supporting characters then in the supposed star of the show, hence the Wade Wilson video posted above.

Going to see the Wolverine movie tonight…

In honor of the Wolverine movie that was released this past weekend, I decided to share the above video with you. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. (The folks over at Cracked.com are awesome :P)

In other news, I should have something new up on Monday. Not sure what yet since I’ve got a bunch of stuff to review at the moment. This past week didn’t work out as well as I had hoped, mostly due to a strong rebound in business at my job which wore me out. I’m not complaining, I’m glad to see the business coming back. =^_^=

Well, that’s all for now. See ya on Monday!

Elika - Don't you wish your camel was hot like me?

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I booted up Prince of Persia since I’ve never played any of the previous games. Luckily for me, this game breaks completely with any of the previous mythology established in earlier Prince of Persia games. This fresh start definitely made me feel more welcome as I stepped into the Prince’s shoes for the very first time…and proceeded to fall to my death almost immediately. Yeah, I’m not very good at platformers =^_^;;=
