In a recent blog post on the Titan Studios website, the developers of Fat Princess have announced that new maps are on the way. The first map, titled “New Pork,” promises players a city based battleground replete with sewer tunnels for some truly down and dirty fighting. No other details were given concerning the exact number of new maps on the way or what they will contain.

Spotted this teaser trailer for a Dance in the Vampire Bund anime series while conducting some…er…research over at the delightful, but very NSFW, Sankaku Complex. If you haven’t watched it yet, I should warn you that if contains some minor spoilers. On the plus side, it also looks to be following the source material very closely, much to the delight of pedobears fans everywhere. Considering what I loveaffair I have been having with the manga version of the series, I was most pleased to discover that it is being made into an anime series for lolicons anime fans to enjoy.
I tried to dig up a release date for the series in Japan, but I pretty much came up empty handed because 1.) I can’t read the Japanese only website for the show and 2.) there just doesn’t seem to be that much info out there right now. As for when it might see a U.S. release, that’s an even more dubious question considering the nature of the content. I will post more info when I find out something new.

The newest trailer for the upcoming ODST debuted this past weekend and, as you can see, is suitably impressive. Sadly, it also serves as a vivid reminder that there still is no live action Halo movie planned anytime in the foreseeable future for a variety of extremely retarded reasons. Namely, people in the movie and videogame industry not wanting to make shitloads of money.
In related news, a longer version of the trailer (another whole minute of footage!) will be airing tonight on Spike TV at 10:30. This perhaps the only reason anyone should ever be caught dead watching Spike TV.
(BTW, all apologies for the age verification screen at the beginning of the video. I don’t know how to get rid of it =^_^;;=)

Okay, maybe it’s not quite that bad, but I’m sure I have no doubt nerds across the country nearly swallowed their tongues when they heard that Disney was buying Marvel comics. As the details of the merger continue to trickly out, I believe it’s just a matter of time before we see angry mobs armed with pitchforks and torches take the streets. Personally, I’m just waiting for Disney to announce that the next Kingdom Hearts game will now include Wolverine as playable character. I mean, the marketing gurus over Marvel have managed to shoehorn him into just about everything else, so why not into a Disney game. Better yet, I’m sure Wolvie will soon be appearing in a whole slew of Disney animated features, probably with titles like “Wolverine’s Big Day Out” or “Wolverine and the Seven Mutant Dwarfs.” ZOMG, the possiblities are just endless!
In related news, for those seeking a bit of humor in all of this, I suggest checking out the #marveldisney twitter topic. It makes for some hilarious reading with the funniest thing I’ve seen to date being the Disney memo to Marvel. It’s worth a look just for the pic of his pants off to better fit in with Donald Duck.
That’s all for now. Feel free to engage in nerd rage in the comments section =^_-=
