Have you ever wondered what it would be like if some you could play an RPG containing some of your favorite video game characters from companies like Capcom, Namco, and Nippon Ichi? Yeah, me too. Unfortunately, for all of us, the short answer to that question is that could quite possibly be the worst experience of your life if Cross Edge is anything to go by.

Monday Music: “Old City Bar” by Trans-Siberian Orchestra
December 28th, 2009 — Music
Call me a sap, but when it comes to the three CDs worth of christmas tunes produced by Trans-Siberian Orchestra, my favorite has to be “Old City Bar.” Their biggest song, “Sarajevo 12/24,” gets all the airtime on the radios, but I don’t really consider that an original song from them since it was originally released by the founders of Trans-Siberian Orchestra on the “Dead Winter Dead” album under their original band name, Savatage. (It’s a bit more complicated then that, but I’m not going to go into that here
)
Anyway, the song comes from their first CD, “Christmas Eve and Other Stories,” and all the song on the disc help tell a large story about an angel coming down from heaven in search of gifts for the Lord. All in all, it’s the best CD ever released by Trans-Siberian Orchestra, but that’s just my opinion XD.
Merry Christmas!

Sorry about the missed Avater review. This past week has just been to busy. I’ll have a full review up next week, but for the short term let me just say that it was a great movie and well worth going to see. It’s pretty much just Dances with Wolves in space with blue indians and better explosions =^_^=
Also, before I go, I wanted to wish everyone who reads OtakuGaijin a very Merry Christmas. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas season with your friends and family!
Sincerely,
LC1
Monday Music: “Christmas in Hollis” by Run DMC
December 21st, 2009 — Music
I don’t have a lot of posts lined up for this week with it being Christmas and all. Between extra long hours spent at work and family gatherings, I don’t expect to have a lot of time to spend updating the website. I’ve got a review of the new James Cameron movie “Avatar” planned for Wednesday, but other then that, I don’t have anything else concrete in the works. This will improve next week, but to tide you over ’till then, I’ve got some old school Christmas tunes to tide you over. Today’s docket includes music from Run DMC, Wham and a rock and roll remix of the classic Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmas song. Hope you like it.
That’s all for now. Merry Christmas, everyone!
Review: Atelier Annie: Alchemists of Sera Island (DS)
December 15th, 2009 — Reviews, Videogames
Atelier Annie is a wonderful RPG experience with plenty of engaging content to entertain both first time RPG players and long time fans of the genre. The story line was very fun and cute with plenty of likable characters who aid Annie in her quest to be the most successful alchemist on Sera Island. The adorable graphics and above average quality of the voice work and music add greatly to the game’s charm.
