Look, I know there are some out there who claim that the Fate/stay night anime isn’t all the great. To some extent, I have to agree. It wasn’t that groundbreaking and to be honest, I have yet to even finish the series. In fact, I can’t even get around to finishing the eroge game it’s based off of and that’s got actual PORN in it! Amazingly though, all of that hasn’t stopped me from collecting a variety of figures and art from the series.
For example, this Rider figure that Max Factory just announced looks simply AMAZING. I don’t often use the word “beautiful” to describe a figure, but just look at her! Those eyes! That face! That short dress just begging for upskirt shots!! Yeah, I’ve got it bad and I’m betting this is another figure that’s going to end up on my pre-order list. Maybe if I’m lucky, this figure will inspire me to either finish the anime series or at least make far enough into the eroge that I might finally get to see some boobies or something… =^_^;;=
Anyway, all my perverted ramblings aside, this looks like it’s going to be one heck of a beautiful figure. The figure will 3,000 yen and is expected to be released sometime in May. For more details and pics, I highly recommend visiting the Max Factory website.

In an effort to make God of War fans into even bigger nerds then they already are, Sony has announced a deal with United Cutlery to make replicas of Kratos’ chain blades available to that all important segment of the population that will buy anything with a chain attached. The Blades of Chaos replicas are roughly 20 inches in length and come with a custom display stand to make it easier to mount over your fireplace. For those interested in pre-ordering one of these bad boys, you can do so via the United Cutlery website for the measly sum of $123.99.

I know I’m a little behind the curve on this one, but in case you haven’t heard yet, Max Factory announced last week that they would be releasing a new Konata Izumi figma in August. Dressed in a summer version of her school uniform, this version is destined to arouse the passions of Lucky Star fans everywhere with its plethora of extras. Not only does the new Konata figure include a “=ω=” expression, but it also comes with a blank face and stickers(!) so fans can produce their own expressions. Additionally, Konata has also been given a new set of hands to go along with her new look, including a hand for holding objects and one making the “thumbs up” gesture.
Although this particular figma is a definite must buy for me, I must admit that I’m a little disturbed that the new figure will also ship with the head of Konata’s younger cousin packaged inside. No body, no explanation, just an extra head for another character. That just creeps me out on so many levels =^_^;;=
