Peggle - One of Us Edition

I picked up the demo for Peggle last night off of Xbox Live and after burning through the first few levels, I knew it was definitely a “must by”. As a casual game created by the unofficial kings of casual gaming, Popcap Games, Peggle is simple in concept and easy to learn. It’s as if an American pinball machine and a Japanese pachinko machine had sex and the resulting offspring was put on the internet for adoption.

Your like free pizza at an anime convention to her

Got my copy of FEAR 2: Project Origin early last week from GameFly which begins a few hours before the end of the first game, but follows a different set of characters as they experience the cataclysmic events that occur at the end of the first FEAR with the destruction of the Vault and Alma’s awakening. No mention (at least so far), has been made as to the final fate of the original game’s main character (Point-man), but I have hope that some tidbit of info will come to light before the final credits roll.

Rufus is a fat bastard

My Street Fighter IV rental from Gamefly arrived on Friday, and after spending several hours with it, I can honestly say that I won’t be buying this game anytime soon. There’s simply to much about it that I don’t like, yet at the same time, it keeps calling me back to play. I try to ignore it, as it sits in it’s rental sleeve up on my shelf, but I can’t escape it’s nostalgia laced whispers of days long since passed and friends lost in time.
