Felt like rockin’ eighties style today with this amazing trash metal rave version of “The A-team” theme song by The Zombie Kids.  With the new movie having bombed out completely in movie theaters last month, the least I can due is take the time to remind people that not all remakes have to turn out bad.  In fact, I guarantee that this particular remake will have even the most rhythm-less nerd nodding their head before the song is finished.

After having had the pleasure of watching the new Evangelion movie last week, I found myself in the mood a bit of “Fly Me To The Moon” by Hikaru Utada. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that she released an updated version on the song in 2007 for the new Evangelion movie. For those who prefer to keep it strictly old school, I’ve posted the full version of the original song behind the jump. I know, I know, I’m such a giver. Sorry if this week’s Monday Music is overly saccharine, but I just couldn’t help myself. I’ve been addicted to the Toradora anime ever since it showed up my doorstep last week and I can’t stop listening to the first end theme song. It’s really disgusting, to be honest, because the song is really not that memorable. I blame my sudden infatuation with all things Toradora related for this post… =T_T=

It’s hot outside right now and Sweden seems like a cool place to be, so a little bit of ABBA seemed a natural fit for today’s Monday Music.  Rather than go with the standard version, I decided to spice it up a bit with a remix version.  Blame it on all the Dancemania albums I’ve been listening to as of late.  =^_^;;=

This song is probably the best thing to come out of my entire experiance with the Alan Wake game…well, that and the Bright Falls web series that someone needs turn into a full-fledged TV series ASAP.

Released back in February, I’ve been meaning to call some attention to Team Teamwork’s Vinyl Fantasy VII mashup album for a while now. Although I only dug a few songs of the album (like the one above), it’s an interesting piece of work that I recommend fans of either hip-hop or Final Fantasy music at least give a try. The entire album was originally available for download completely free of charge, Despite the album being pulled from it’s original host site after just a few days due to some legal threats, it seems that it’s cropped up again on another Team Teamwork related website…

Yeesh, everyone’s a critic. My cat keeps glaring at me and meowing grumpily as I blast this awesome live version of the Soul Eater OP on my computer. All apologies if today’s video is a little on the T&A side, but I guess it’s a good way to kick off the week considering I have a totally NSFW Queen’s Blade figure review scheduled for Wednesday.  Also, I can’t get this damn song out of my head.  All I hear in my head all day long lately is the main lyric line “Waiting for a star to fall” over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over…
