Sadly, I received it on Wed from Netflix, but haven’t watched it yet. I had heard it didn’t do as well as some of his other movies and that he was disappointed by the feedback. In fact, he’s even said he might consider putting off retirement or something to that effect.

As for disjointed films, have you ever seen Pom Poko? That movies was a dog. I barely made it through it and it put my wife to sleep. Definitely not one of his better efforts =^_^;;=

YAYY! I liked that movie quite a bit. Probably even more than my kids. XD

I especially liked the storm scene! On of my fav parts of any Miyazaki film. Overall though I thought the story was very disjointed… weird for one of his movies. Still a great movie though.

I’m working on it. Doctor assigned me some Nexium which so far isn’t working as well as I would like. She also wants me have some sort of something-something-oscopie that would check out what exactly is going on with my stomach, but my wife lost her health insurance at her work this past January, so that’s going to have to wait. I’m going back to work to day and doing my best to think healthy positive thoughts… =^_^;;=

Glad you liked it! The anime really, really, really needs to come to the U.S. I have the whole thing via fansubs, but I haven't finished it yet because I'd rather buy a high quality version on DVD or Blu-ray here in the U.S. =T_T= BTW, the techno version of the song from vol. 3 of the Code Speed album is pretty good too (if your into that kind of thing):
