Activision has announced that the DJ group, Daft Punk, will be providing several custom mixes for the DJ Hero game. Below is a list of announced mixes that have felt the robotic duo’s golden touch so far include:

Considering the fact that I still listen to their Discovery album on a regular basis, I’m quite excited by this news. With that said, I would like to send a heartfelt message to Activision that the non-stop news whoring about their involvement in the DJ Hero project has really got to stop. Seriously, guys, I realize you’re excited to be working two of the most awesome mixmasters in the business. In fact, I know how awe inspiring is must be to be rubbing shoulders with two people who are so amazing, that they even got the legendary Leiji Matsumoto to make a full length animated feature film
based around one of their albums, but it’s gotten to the point where I can’t even go take a dump without getting a five tweets, an RSS feed and a couple of emails about them while I’m gone. Look, I’m happy too, but if you could just take the excitement down a notch, that would be great. Thanks.
